Pragati Cement began its journey in 1995 with a dream to manufacture high quality cement at its state of the art plant at Purulia with a small capacity. Today we have expanded our capacity sizably and in the process have become a household name in the state. We provide leading-edge technology to the global construction industry. Our products, systems and services offer the construction industry with professional and innovative solutions that add value. Our headquarters is in Kolkata, West Bengal. We build a better future for our customers. Our corporate culture is founded on integrity, courage, teamwork and commitment. We excel through outstanding innovation, top quality, direct customer relations and effective marketing. Two thirds of our employees work directly for the customer in sales organizations and in engineering. Pragati Cement has its own production plants as well as research and development centers.
